PatientWay™ Access Management Platform selected by Owen Sound’s Grey Bruce Health Services
Multi-site Hospital Uses Patient Self-Service to Streamline Administration
OTTAWA and OWEN SOUND, JULY 26, 2010 - Grey Bruce Health Services agreed to launch a pilot project of PatientWay™ Access Management Platform, which will contribute to the hospital’s registration efficiencies and improve patient satisfaction. “As a large multi-site organization, Grey Bruce has demonstrated proactive and coordinated process engineering. We look forward to piloting with this progressive hospital. Working with a team that is so active in process improvement, like Grey Bruce, we know that we can quickly help this hospital make a difference on their bottom line .” Infonium CEO, Jay Lawrence. Both PatientWay Online and Kiosk will be implemented during this pilot project. The Online feature will allow patients to pre-register from the comfort of their own home up to 48 hours before an appointment, and the Kiosk function lets patients bypass the Registration desk upon arrival and to check-in by swiping their health card at the touch-screen. By adding new self-service options, GBHC also forecasts an increase in patient and staff satisfaction.
