TalentBridge, a program delivered by OCRI, connects future entrepreneurs with established Ottawa business leaders, providing valuable experience in the areas of business strategy, marketing, sales and communications.

Gordon Cameron recently joined Infonium on a work placement through TalentBridge to work closely with CEO Jay Lawrence on business development. By partnering together, OCRI andd Infonium are able to give support to young innovators like Gordon.

Originally from Sunnyvale, California, Gordon Cameron is in his fourth year of Aerospace Engineering at Carleton University. Gordon has experience in various areas of mechanical design including Solar Panels for SunPower Corp., and Optical Sensor Platforms for Silicon Light Machines, subsidiary of Cypress Semiconductor. Gordon previously worked on the iPod Product Design Team for Apple Inc. in Cupertino, California where he gained experience in creative design, manufacturing design, materials sourcing and vendor/contractor management.

TalentBridge is a unique program delivered by OCRI to give Ontario’s young talent an opportunity to work closely with Ottawa based SME’s in the areas of business strategy, marketing, sales and/or business communication. Student participants of TalentBridge spend 14 weeks (working full time) or 28 weeks (working part time) with the senior executive of an Ottawa based technology SME (Small or Medium Enterprise) while working on a project in the above areas.
